Mi Pueblito
Mi Pueblito is located on Avenida de Los Martires on the lower slopes of Ancon Hill. It is an exact replica of a small, Panamanian interior town at the turn of the century. Government offices, shops, a school and a tiny church surround a cobblestone plaza, complete with fountain. A museum is devoted to the pollera, Panama's national dress and colorful folklore shows are offered regularly.

There are also faithful replicas of the villages of Panama's other major ethnic groups - the Afro/Antilleans with their wooden gingerbread houses, the Kuna and Guaymie Indians with their thatched huts, and the Embera /Wounan Indians with their houses built on stilts.

It makes an interesting attraction, especiallyfor visitors who have no time to explore the interior of the country. Mi Pueblito opens daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admittance is $1.00
